Chris Horner praises Verstappen: "The race in Brazil like those of Senna and Schumacher"

A race "crazy” by Max Verstappen, as defined by Chris Horner, team principal of Red Bull. In Brazil, in the pouring rain of Interlagos for almost 3 hours of the Grand Prix, the Dutch talent proved to be a promise for this modern Formula 1. Having started well from the start, Verstappen managed to get to second position ahead of Nico Rosberg, before falling to the back of the group with the tire change and the wrong strategy from Red Bull. But Max certainly didn't give up, and was the protagonist of one comeback extraordinary, by the way overtaking almost impossible and very dangerous, given the great slipperiness of the track and the water on the track.

His driving style, his recovery, his confidence under water brought back memories of the past: Ayrton Senna in Munich 84 o Michael Schumacher in Barcelona 1996. Matches like those left an impression, and it is precisely those to which Horner compared his talent: "That's right, Max's race must be compared with those great moments!”, he declared after the end of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
