Chandock has Force India as his target for 2011

We're not even halfway through the racing year when the rider market is already going crazy with rumors and anticipated confirmations. The Indian rookie, Karun Chandock, currently driving at HRT, could be the coup for Force India in 2011, thus joining his compatriot team boss Vijay Mallya.

The boy, 26 years old, is certainly confident after telling the press that he has proven to be competitive while his teammate still has a lot to work on, but apparently this exit as a "sinner of presumption" has not affected him at all Mallya himself who seems to have numerous doubts about the pilot.

With Delhi preparing to enter the F1 calendar with a brand new Grand Prix, it could be a perfect time to unite an Indian car and driver that would thus represent motor sport in the world.

“I think having an Indian driver in an Indian car is a good incentive for the Grand Prix and with these conditions there is a certainty that tickets will sell like hotcakes. I'm doing good races and I'm much more competitive than Bruno: this means I've done a good job. I don't mind HRT either, if the guys on the team manage to respect the plans, which were initially decreed, in the future it will certainly be a competitive team... for now they are happy with my work" - added Chandock.
