Chandhok hopes to know before Christmas whether he will race in F1

Karun Chandhok has announced that despite many tests with the GP2, his goal remains to race in Formula 1 in 2011.

The Indian driver tested with ORT, his former GP2 team, in France last week, and next week he plans to do further testing in Abu Dhabi with both ORT and Coloni.
Chandhok, who contested grands prix with HRT in early 2010, said in a statement that the GP2 teams "requested my help" with testing.
He also explained that he is in talks to return to Formula 1 full-time in 2011.
“For me it's a good way to learn another F1 track, in view of the 2011 championship, it's a chance to get some rust off,” said Chandhok before the week of testing in Abu Dhabi.
“I hope to have a definitive program before F1 stops for Christmas,” he added.
