Chandhok: “I lost 26 kilos so I could run in the car”

Karun chandhok he said he lost 26 kilos when he was a teenager so he could race in F1. Everything, to be able to get into a single-seater.
The Indian revealed to the Daily Pioneer that he weighed 96 kilos when he graduated from high school.
“I was told that if I wanted to race a car, I would have to lose a lot of weight to fit in it.”
“So, I lost 26 kilos in less than six months and then won the Indian racing championship. It was a defining moment for me,” added the 27-year-old, who also raced in English F3 and GP2.
