Caterham satisfied in Korea

16th and 17th place for the two drivers Caterham, Vitaly Petrov e Heikki Kovalainen at the end of the Korean GP.

“It was a very simple race for us. What we had to do was keep our direct opponents behind us without problems
– explains Kovalainen at the end of the Korean GP -. I had another good start and was ahead of my teammate at the first corner after starting on the supersofts. They started to fail relatively quickly, particularly on the right front, which we imagined might happen in the race so for both pit stops we opted for the softs and they held up well for most of the afternoon."

“To be honest it was a pretty quiet race for me. We were easily able to keep up with the teams behind us, we had no problems with the car and we probably got what the car could offer us today.", he concludes.

“For me it was a good afternoon, probably the best result I could have achieved today – declares Petrov -. The car worked well throughout the race and I had a good battle with Heikki. I managed the gap with the Marussias, I passed the first corner without problems and from then on I thought about the tyres, managing to maintain the pace until the checkered flag.".
