Caterham, Kobayashi: “I know Vettel didn't like the overtaking”

Nothing new or worth reporting for the Caterham who performed well in the grand prix in China, managing to keep at least one of the Marussias behind him.

“The start wasn't very good but I still recovered some positions and battled with Maldonado until he got the better of him on lap 18 – the report from Kamui Kobayashi, 18th – Thanks to the three-stop strategy I was able to pass Vettel, who didn't like it as he was struggling with fuel management and on old tires at the time. I then liked the final duel with Bianchi. It's just a shame that I discovered after the race that the overtaking made on what I thought was the last lap due to the checkered flag being waved early had been of no avail. In any case, it was a difficult start to the season but with today's result we have also shown progress in terms of reliability."

“At the start I wasn't perfect and I lost to both of our direct rivals – commented Marcus Ericsson, 20th – Right from the start I suffered from understeer and graining, so I was forced to stop after just ten laps to fit the mediums and add a bit of a front wing, a change which in any case never allowed me to push. The next appointment will be on a track I know, which will be a help. In these weeks I will be at the base to work on the simulator and with the updates that we will bring to Spain I am sure we will come back stronger".
