Caterham, Kobayashi: “Bianchi should have been punished”
The collision on lap 26 would have caused damage to the bottom and sides
Decent ride but not enough to go home satisfied with Caterham who had the top ten stolen by her direct rival despite the latter having had a troubled Sunday.
“The start was good and I managed to avoid the debris left by Force India – he declared Kamui Kobayashi, 13th – Unfortunately on lap 26 after returning from the stop at the chicane after the tunnel Bianchi hit me. I don't understand why the management didn't intervene considering the damage caused to the bottom and sides which among other things prevented me from entering the points. In any case, I keep my spirits high and hope the experience will be useful to me in the future."
“Despite the result, I am happy to have seen the finish line of my first Monaco GP – he stated Marcus Ericsson, 11th – After starting from the pit lane I quickly joined the second Marussia, the balance was good and the pace too. Both stints on the supersofts allowed me to push and in the final I kept Raikkonen behind."
