Buemi is hoping for a seat in Force India or Lotus for 2013

Sebastien Buemi is still in contention for a place at Force India for the 2013 Formula 1 season. The Swiss, dropped by Toro Rosso at the end of last year but signed by Red Bull as a reserve driver, told the newspaper Blick that he is also one of the candidates to replace Romain Grosjean at Lotus.

According to the newspaper, the new contract with Red Bull is already ready.

Buemi said: “But I'm still waiting for Force India's response. And not everything is defined yet at Lotus. Luckily for me, most of the teams haven't forgotten me. There's nothing else I can do."

Buemi's career is currently managed by Julian Jacobi, Ayrton Senna's manager.

Also still looking for a steering wheel for 2013 is Kamui Kobayashi who managed to raise a good budget from his fans through a subscription launched on the Internet. According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the Japanese has raised one million euros so far.
