Buemi admits he has less pressure after the Hungarian Grand Prix
Sebastien Buemi He said that eighth place at the Hungarian Grand Prix eased some of the pressure Red Bull was putting on him.
Red Bull is currently keeping an eye on the performances of the two Toro Rosso drivers, Alguersuari and Buemi, and in the future it will be decided which of the two will switch to Red Bull, when Mark Webber will retire. Buemi called his performance in Hungary one of his best.
“Now the summer holidays will be bearable!” Buemi told 20 Minuten “I'm under contract with Red Bull until 2013, so it's not a decision that's up to me. They are free to put me wherever they want either in Toro Rosso or in Red Bull. It is also possible to drive for another team, but Red Bull has the final say. My morale is high, also because they expressed satisfaction with my performance.
Buemi explained that now he also feels less pressured in the comparison with Alguersuari.
“He is the only rider with whom I fight on equal terms. I try to fight to beat him in qualifying and in the race. In 11 races I beat him eight times. It's very positive."
