Bruno Senna opens up to a season as third driver

Bruno senna should accept the third pilot position in Lotus in 2012, to have the opportunity to race on Friday in free practice.

With Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean announced as starting drivers, Senna's opportunities have in fact been reduced.

“Becoming third driver would mean having the chance to drive on Fridays, as many reserve drivers have done this year.” “This allows you to be active and be able to do something for the team. I would have to have the right team, but this is an option.”

Senna also says he has contacts with Lotus for the role of third driver but the Enstone team is not the only choice.

“There is still a possibility for me to stay here, I have good relationships with the engineers and every person in the team. But we need to discuss the terms and see if I can have other chances with other teams."
