Briatore: Webber should be #1 in Red Bull

Flavio Briatore from Monza where he attended the race spoke about Red Bull and the situation of Mark Webber, a driver managed by his management company.

For the former Renault boss, winner of the 2005 and 2006 world championships with Alonso, Red Bull should give the Australian driver the ranks of captain and focus on him if they don't want to lose the 2010 world championship.

Red Bull is the best performing car of the lot but its drivers are always fighting each other and often make gross mistakes. In Monza Vettel came fourth and Webber sixth but in the standings the Australian leads with 5 points over Hamilton and a 24 advantage over his teammate.

Briatore: “Red Bull haven't yet understood that if they continue like this, with Webber and Vettel always racing against each other, they risk losing this world championship. In Ferrari there is a clear situation for example: Alonso is the team boss and the two drivers help each other. At Red Bull they threw away a hundred points and Vettel made all sorts of mistakes. If he doesn't want to win the championship I think he has found the right way to do it."
