Briatore: “I miss F1”

Briatore: “I miss F1”

Flavio Briatore was in the Monaco paddock on Thursday. At the moment the Italian is still serving a disqualification from F1 but obviously the journalists asked him when he will return to the premier category.

“I'm here now, can't you see me?” she joked. “Seriously, I miss relationships with people, that kind of thing, but I'm in constant contact and that's fine,” Briatore added.

“What I don't miss is going to China. Formula 1 is a great sport, and I would like to be part of it because I have good friends here" we read in the Daily Mail.

“But at the moment I have no plan to return,” he added.

Briatore has been repeatedly referred to as Bernie Ecclestone's successor or as the new boss of Ferrari. The Maranello team is undergoing restructuring following the departure of Aldo Costa.

Fernando Alonso immediately set the best time yesterday in free practice in Monaco but according to Briatore there is no connection with Costa's departure: "A single person can't improve anything, but a bit of reorganization was needed ”.

Then a comment on Michael Schumacher: “For him, returning was a life choice and we cannot criticize it. This is what he chose, I hope he enjoys it, sometimes more, sometimes less, but we have to respect it."
