Briatore in Ferrari? Maranello denies it
di Staff11 June, 2011
The head of the Ferrari press office and Fernando Alonso have denied the rumors of the imminent arrival of Flavio Briatore at the top of the Maranello team. Rumors this week claimed that Briatore was "in talks with Ferrari to replace current team principal Stefano Domenicali".
Alonso told Diario Sport newspaper in Canada that he knew nothing about the Briatore rumours.
“I'm very happy with how everything is at the moment” reiterated the Spaniard.
Luca Colajanni's denial was more annoyed, admitting Ferrari's reluctance to let its drivers use Twitter: "I often have to deal with rumors spread by websites, the source of which I don't know" he declared. “I can mention a rumor on a Dutch site, which is complete idiocy.”
