BrawnGP: Double in Monza

"Monza is always a special track for me and it's a wonderful thing to win here again. We made some important decisions and the work done on Friday was the key to today's result. We had to think about the race strategy in function of our rivals with the kers. I managed to overtake Heikki at the start and from there I had the pace to overtake the cars on the two stops. I want to thank all the team at the factory and Mercedes for the development of this great car. Sara 'A good fight for the world championship from the next races, two victories in the last three races is a good result. I want to dedicate this victory to my two sons Eduardo and Fernando who both celebrate their birthdays this month."

"I had a good race today and I'm happy to be back on the podium again. The team and Rubens did a great job and congratulations to Rubens for his second win this season. The car worked well and I managed to set some constant lap times. The strategy we chose was perfect. Lewis pushed a lot behind me at the end but I was confident and then on this track it's difficult to overtake even with the kers. We showed that Brawn is a good car. A very exciting season finale awaits us."
