Yesterday Robert Kubica focused on two different areas. The first included testing of various set-ups and aerodynamic solutions in preparation for the Spanish GP. The second part was focused on the work for the 2009 championship. To collect useful data for the development of next year's car, the BMW Sauber F1 team also used the 2009 slick tyres. An hour before the end Kubica went out on the turn 5 due to a technical problem. The small impact with the tire barriers caused some damage to the front suspension and front wing. The cause of the technical problem will be further analyzed by engineers.

Today the team will continue testing in Barcelona with the Pole. Work on the set-up and tires is still planned in preparation for next week's Spanish GP.
