BMW: Very disappointing qualifying in Munich

"Obviously it was an extremely disappointing qualifying. We made a lot of changes after Thursday's practice and even more changes after this morning's session despite it being a risk before qualifying. But we knew we didn't have much to lose. In In fact, the situation has gotten worse but there hasn't been a big difference. It's frustrating when you go to the limit and take every risk, especially on this circuit, and despite everything you don't get anywhere. At the moment we don't know what went wrong In Barcelona we took a step forward, but here we are below expectations."

"So far we have only encountered difficulties. We struggled on Thursday and again this morning. I had a bad out lap with a lot of traffic. As a result my tires cooled down a lot. However, the overall performance of the car is not enough. We have to realize that we are not competitive. We have to adapt to the situation and work really hard now."
