BMW: Technical problems for Kubica. A normal Friday for Heidfeld at Silverstone

“It was a difficult day for me. In the morning I had electronic problems on the car which prevented me from having a clean exit. Then, in the early stages of the second session the engine lost power. I thank the team for allowing me to return to the track as soon as possible. So I was able to do some problem-free rides and work on the set-up.”

“For me it was a normal Friday. I did a tire evaluation and worked on the set-up as planned. The track was very dirty and then it improved during the session. This makes it difficult to judge the new components and the new front wing, but I think it is better and gives us more load.”
