Bernie Ecclestone: “Vettel is too young to join Ferrari”
Ecclestone believes that living with Fernando Alonso would not be a problem
Bernie Ecclestone thinks Sebastian Vettel is "too young" to move to Ferrari.
The F1 boss is famous for being close to the twenty-four-year-old double world champion Vettel, who according to many speculations could join Ferrari in 2014.
"Not now. He's too young. Normally your career ends at Ferrari,” Ecclestone said in a joint interview with Stefano Domenicali at Bild.
Despite his doubts however, Ecclestone believes that living with Fernando Alonso would not be a problem.
“It shouldn't be a problem, they are both riders who are constantly looking for new challenges.”
Ecclestone also expressed his opinion on the attitude of the teams, who always try to interpret the regulations to the limits of legality.
“If I were a team boss, I would try to find an exploit in the rules,” Ecclestone said.
