Gerhard Berger stated yesterday that Toro Rosso, born on the ashes of Minardi, will not return to the "drivers with a suitcase" policy in the future, despite the financial difficulties that the team may encounter in the near future.

Dietrich Mateschitz, who owns 50% of the Faenza team, has proposed putting his share up for sale in 2009, but the former driver Berger, who owns the other half, has declared his categorical intentions when it comes to drivers to the Austrian agency APA, even in the hypothesis of having to lose Vettel to the senior Red Bull team: "It hasn't been decided yet but it's certainly possible. Naturally we would prefer to stay with Vettel and Bourdais, because we are very satisfied with them and it is still a problem to constantly change drivers. For sure though, we will never have a paying driver. It's not in our plans."
