Barcelona: great balance on the final day of the F1 tests

And those who predicted a great balance were certainly not proven wrong: the top eight in today's standings, who presumably all carried out a qualifying simulation, are within less than half a second. Hamilton opens the row (1.20.472), Kobayashi closes (1.20.911). Behind are only Buemi (1.22.135), Kubica (1.23.175), Kovalainen (1.25.521) and Di Grassi (1.26.150). All to the delight of the almost fifteen thousand spectators who came to the circuit again today to follow the tests: there were as many as sixty-six thousand people in the stands in four days.

Felipe Massa, who debuted the F10 earlier this month in Valencia, achieved the third best performance with a time of 1.20.539. The Brazilian driver initially worked on finding the performance and best set-up of his car and then concentrated on evaluating the behavior of the Bridgestone tires over long distances.
