Conflicting news regarding Kubica's condition

As always happens in these cases, the most disparate conditions are also being discussed regarding Kubica's condition. What appears to be the case, fortunately, of course, is that the pilot's life is NOT in danger, and this is already a huge relief. As regards physical conditions, some networks report problems with his right hand and multiple fractures including the femur of one leg. The worst rumors (we repeat, we are talking about rumors that we hope are not confirmed) talk about amputation of the leg and serious problems with the hand.

How reliable are F1 tests?

The 2011 season officially opened yesterday, with the first of three days of testing in Valencia. And, like every year, we are faced with different 'factions' that judge the reliability of these tests very differently: let's see which ones they are: Those who...the tests don't mean anything. Many enthusiasts believe that the winter tests show little about the teams' true values on the field. This is due to the need to 'cover' obvious performance advantages, and therefore not wanting to show the competition the real potential of one's single-seater. Furthermore, now for the first race, the cars will change a lot. Lap times, therefore, are not considered at all, except to understand the reliability of the single-seaters.
