Arrivabene: “Manor? No money, no camel..."

In the classic press conference reserved for the main teams, Maurizio Arrivabene returned to talk about Manor and the relationship between the English Scuderia and the Maranello company, explaining that Ferrari, as per agreements, will supply its power units only if Manor manages to give the right economic guarantees. Arrivabene specified that the Scuderia del Cavallino has no credit towards the new team managed by Greame Lowdon and that all the debts (around 20 million) refer to the now bankrupt Marussia.

“I want to clarify some things about the Manor issue” declared Maurizio Arrivabene. “I've read a lot of things around, but we are creditors with the old club, Marussia, not with this new team. We are talking about a completely new club that has no connections with the old team. We have no credit with them."

“I have already spoken to their technical director, Graeme Lowdon, and I have been very clear with them: no money, no camel. We will help Manor with the supply of Ferrari engines but we do not intend to fall back into a situation similar to that of Marussia" he concluded.
