Arrivabene confesses: “Ferrari out of the Rosberg issue, but I would like to be in Toto Wolff's place”

Maurice Arrivabene wanted to provide further clarity regarding the question of Nico Rosberg's replacement at Mercedes: in fact, it had been talked about several times Sebastian Vettel as a possible choice, but the team has declared the German "armoured" in Maranello at least until the end of the season 2017. The team principal himself specified it Ferrari who denied any type of involvement in theAffair.

Maurizio Arrivabene however confessed: “I would like to be in Toto Wolff's place”. Then he specified: “In the sense, because he won the world championship”. Then he intervened directly in the Rosberg issue: “We have two riders, they are under contract with us for next year and therefore replacing Rosberg is not my problem. Toto will find a solution", he has declared.

Obviously, in Ferrari, there hasn't been a good atmosphere this year: “There's no point in hiding it. The season has been disappointing for us. But from Japan onwards there were encouraging signs for next year. The start of the season had all the best expectations, but during the year we noticed some things that were wrong, first of all in the aerodynamics", added Maurizio Arrivabene speaking about Ferrari's 2016. “Corrections were made, but unfortunately they arrived late”he concluded.
