Raikkonen's future is still uncertain

Kimi Raikkonen has not yet clarified his plans for next season and from Finland where he is competing in another round of the World Rally Championship he reveals: “I can't give you any news on my future plans yet. We have some decisions to make and I haven't done that yet. I can honestly tell you that I still don't know what I'm going to do."

Citroen recently announced the reappointment of Sebastien Loeb and Sebastien Ogier but said nothing about Raikkonen.

Kimi will certainly compete in another rally championship but the doors of Formula One are not yet completely closed for him.

FIA president Jean Todt, who was present in Finland, also spoke about Raikkonen: “I understood his decision to move on to rallies. He wanted a new challenge and was very brave to take the rally route. Formula One is constant pressure and I understand why Kimi wanted to do something else. But I can tell you that if current champion Jenson Button or the next world champion were to choose to go rallying, I'm sure they wouldn't be at the same level as Kimi in their first season."
