Caterham also up for auction

The auction house Wyles Hardy & Co has organized a sale for March 11th which will have as its protagonist Caterham and all his possessions.

Chassis, demonstration single-seaters, racing equipment, the simulator and the factory itself will be liquidated, putting an end to the chances of a last-minute return as the administrator of the bankruptcy agency had optimistically predicted Smith & Williamson Finbarr O'Connell hopeful of finding a buyer for Tony Fernandes' former club.

Meanwhile, the Strategy Group is currently meeting to decide whether to give the green light to the Marussia to line up the old cars on the 2015 grid given that in recent days an investor, who now identifies himself as Justin King, CEO of the Sainsbury supermarket chain and father of the GP2 driver Jordan, showed up paying the entry fees for the new championship for the Anglo-Russian team.
