Alonso: I would like to finish at Ferrari
Having archived, with many difficulties, the great disappointment of Abu Dhabi, Ferrari starts again for the new season. After attending the closing ceremony of the racing season in Valencia, Fernando Alonso stayed in Spain for a few days to relax.
During an interview on Onda Cero radio, the Spaniard expressed his intention to continue racing for several years and to end his career at Ferrari. A return to McLaren should be categorically ruled out while he is open to the possibility of having Briatore back as team manager: “My intention is to continue racing a lot, ten years. And I plan to retire at Ferrari. Return to McLaren? Not even by idea. Having Briatore back as team manager? Perhaps…".
The Spaniard explained the climate he breathes in Maranello: “At Ferrari I feel like a king and I really hope to be able to finish my career here. The environment, the professionalism, the way of working. Everything's perfect. I don't know if all the people will continue to work here. What I am sure of is that we must stay united and work to have a competitive car next year."
