Alonso repeatedly congratulated Vettel

The Italian press moved to Fernando Alonso's defense following the news, reported by multiple media, according to which the Ferrari driver had so far not congratulated the new world champion Sebastian Vettel.

In Germany, much importance was given to Vettel's statement that, during his triumphant return to his hometown of Heppenheim last week, he reportedly said "He (Alonso) still hasn't congratulated me."
Asked to explain Alonso's indifferent behavior, Vettel explained "Someone from Heppenheim took the title away from him."
On the contrary, a piece of news provided by Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Ferrari driver "congratulated him (Vettel) repeatedly in the press conference".
Alonso said in an interview with Rai that he is already looking ahead.
“There's obviously a lot of sadness but at the same time I think 2011 will come soon, and then we can win like we know how,” he said.
Alonso defined his and Ferrari's disappointment at the defeat in the world championship as "normal": "It happens every time you finish second in any sport; Wimbledon, Roland Garros, the football world cup, NBA. There is always sadness. I expect a lot from 2011. 2010 was a difficult year for Ferrari but now we are back in shape, the worst is over."
Regarding Vettel he commented “He was the fastest of all, he took ten pole positions, some mechanical problems took some points away from him, but in the end he won. Congratulations, but let's hope we make his life more difficult next year."
