Alonso responds to Marko's criticisms

Fernando Alonso's response to the criticisms of Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko was not long in coming. The Austrian in an interview with the Red Bull magazine underlined Sebastian Vettel's great commitment against the Spaniard's use of "absurd comments" and "psychological games" which demonstrated, in his opinion, the Ferrari driver's own during the decisive phase of the World Cup.

Marko actually accused Alonso of engaging in too much "politics" and the Asturian interpreted the Austrian's criticisms as a logical consequence of a challenge, between Red Bull and Ferrari, destined to be repeated in 2013.

“I'm pleased to read that Red Bull still believes that we will be their biggest rivals next season!” Alonso wrote on Twitter. “And this is even before starting the tests! Flattered ;)”.
