Alonso: “I'm not giving up”

Fernando Alonso took second place at the Indian GP behind Sebastian Vettel. The Ferrari driver was the author of an excellent first lap and a great progression that led him to overtake Mark Webber. Now Alonso is 13 points behind Vettel in the standings but isn't giving up.

“It's not easy to fight at the moment with the Red Bulls but we won't give up,” declared Alonso. “My compliments to Red Bull and Sebastian but we hope to be happier in Brazil, not just here. And I'm sure we will make it. We lost some points but we expected it this weekend, we weren't fast enough, but we lost the minimum number of points and there will be better races. We were fast on the straight but we still lack grip in the corners, we hope to find it in the next races."
