Alonso names four potential teams for his 2009

Fernando Alonso has indicated four teams that could represent an alternative to Renault for 2009. The two-time world champion appears disappointed by the current level of competitiveness of the French team and, after his farewell to McLaren at the end of 2007, he could decide to change teams once again next year.

"What I want is to race with a car capable of taking me to victory" he declared to the newspaper El Pais. "There are several teams that are always at the top, Williams, Toyota, BMW and Ferrari. Two years ago, when I won my second title, perhaps I had other ideas and other priorities. Now, I have a desire for revenge and the 99 % of my time is spent with the idea of ​​winning again. Ferrari? There are many factors to take into consideration. My first option is to stay here if Renault can make a winning car and the truth is that we are progressing. But I don't want to keep fighting to get into Q3. The only thing we can do is try to improve. There are no alternatives. It's hard to stay motivated but every weekend there are new opportunities and we work with that dream. I always think I can get on the podium and if this time it's not possible in Barcelona I'll try again in Monaco."
