In fact, yesterday the Spaniard was the protagonist of a promotional event on the Sakhir track, in Bahrain, where he drove the NASCAR driver's car Jimmie johnson with the latter instead driving a 2013 McLaren.

Alonso, who from next season will be involved in new motorsport challenges, one above all taking part in the Indianapolis 500, admitted that NASCAR is not his full-time goal for the future: "I'm not thinking about it at the moment – underlined the Spaniard -.
