We have now reached conspiracy theory but for the record we have to report the news.
The issue revolves around the lack of presence of Fernando Alonso at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, scheduled for June 13th and 14th, and for which this weekend the Spaniard should have taken part in the 6 Hours of Spa, mandatory for registration in the legendary endurance race.
According to what was reported by the newspaper Marca, the Warrior of Asturias, fascinated by the challenge, even before signing with McLaren he would even have made agreements with the Porsche, the team for which his friend Mark Webber races.
However, to discourage his intentions, last December the FIA published a fake F1 calendar with an appointment coinciding with the Belgian race, the Korean GP, which was later cancelled, so as to make his participation impossible.
But don't worry for lovers of the combative driver from Oviedo. Those in the know say that he is already working to try again in 2016…
