Alonso and Ferrari together until 2016

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro announces that it has renewed the technical-sporting collaboration agreement with driver Fernando Alonso until the end of the 2016 season.

“We are very pleased to have extended the relationship with a driver who has always proven to be a winner, even in the most difficult conditions” – declared President Luca di Montezemolo – “Fernando has all the qualities, technical and human, to be is a full part of the history of Ferrari which, we hope, will soon be enriched with new successes."

“I am very happy to have reached this agreement” – commented Fernando Alonso – “I immediately felt at ease at Ferrari and now I feel it like a second family. I have great faith in the women and men who work at Maranello and in those who drive them: it was therefore natural for me to decide to extend such a long-term relationship with what will be the last team of my Formula 1 career.”
