Alonso: “I might stop at the end of 2017”

Fernando Alonso he will retire at the end of 2017 if the new generation, more powerful and aggressive cars, on track from next year, disappoint him.
The champion from Oviedo himself declared this to the German Sport Bild. “I really like driving and racing is absolutely my life, as well as representing the only thing I'm really capable of doing” – his confession.
“However, if F1 no longer gives me the pleasure it has today, I will stop and look for an alternative. For example, I would like to try endurance racing and maybe win the 24 Hours of Le Mans" – continued the Iberian who did not fail to take a dig at the Ferrari, a team abandoned in 2014 after five championships of joy and sorrow.
“I'm glad I left. It would have been sad to finish for six/seven seasons behind Red Bull and Mercedes..." - the caustic conclusion.
