Flexible wings: the rumors are coming

After the federation announced that the verification criterion on the flexibility of the wings will change at Spa, rumors arrive about the functioning of the Red Bull and Ferrari models and hypotheses are put forward about the secrets of the RB6.

From the next grand prix the wings will be subjected to a force equal to 100 kilograms and will have the possibility of flexing a maximum of 20 mm. However, interesting details emerge about the Red Bull, looking closely at some photographs it seems that it is not only the external front wing that is flexing but also part of the nose. This hypothesis was put forward because the front wing of the RB6 appears to be lower than those of its rivals and this would contribute significantly to increasing the car's grip.

Another detail that would support this hypothesis is the strange collapse of the nose on Vettel's car during testing at Silverstone.

Another theory that would explain the position of the lower front wing is that the bottom of the car flexes: the front part would lower (promoting the lowering of the wing) and the rear part would rise (increasing the air volume of the speaker).
