Aerolab denies espionage rumors
di F1 editorial teamNovember 8, 2009
Aerolab has responded to rumors that the company has infringed Force India's intellectual property along with the new Lotus. In recent days it has become known that the Silverstone team would be concerned by the similarities of the small-scale Lotus model with its current car.
Mike Gascoyne, former chief designer of Force India, has used the Italian company's facility to develop his latest designs.
Aerolab responded to the rumors, revealing that it had sued Force India after a "series of persistent breaches of contract."
“These rumors only serve to damage the reputation and professionalism of the company, thus trying to divert attention from the concrete facts,” said Aerolab manager Jean-Claude Migeot.
