F1 | Ron Dennis tries the Manor “shot”. Is the agreement with KFC at risk?

Ron Dennis could sensationally become part of the Manor board of directors.

According to what some English sources report, the former Mclaren director has put together a Chinese consortium and is interested in the team currently managed by Stephen Fitzpatrick. The consortium in question would be the same one that, until a few months ago, was interested in 51% of the Woking stable, receiving refusal from Mansour Ojjeh. The operation would be much more economically advantageous and would allow the 69-year-old Englishman to maintain a leading role within the paddock.

It should be noted that Manor has not yet chosen its drivers for next season and is in negotiations with other possible buyers for the sale of the team. At stake would be an American consortium led by Tavo Hellmund, architect of the Circus's arrival at CoTA, and Ricardo Gelael's well-known KFC brand. There will be further news in the coming weeks.
